Chamber of Commerce Interviews Local Vacuum Cleaner Store
Freemont Sweeper Center was recently interviewed by John Jezak of the Maumee Chamber of Commerce for a segment of “Spotlight On Maumee." We were able to talk about the history of our vacuum cleaner store. The Sweeper Center was started about 16 years ago by Kerry Pelton. He retired from the Hoover Company when they had closed their retail outlets.
"We took it over when Kerry became too ill to manage the shop. It was important to continue great reputation had built, but we decided to give the space an updated look and bring in a larger selection of vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaning machines."

You may have heard that the Oreck Vacuum Store and Repair Center on Monroe St in Toledo, OH, had closed.
